 Journey to finding your place

Ziena talking about her journey

Summary

Ziena came to New Zealand for international study, but subsequently never wanted to leave and has called Aotearoa home ever since.

Love and life in New Zealand kept her here! Two children and a close family now are a massive part of her identity. Ziena is proudly a Kiwi Fijian Indian and talks about the pride she has in being her authentic self.

Ziena also talks about the difference in cultures, and how sometimes we are immersed or brought up in a culture we take for granted the effect it has on you.

Ziena now gets to travel the world with her mahi, but always takes her identity with her!
