Managing hybrid working environments

Environment (1)

Summary:

We all have the same amount of hours in the day, it’s about prioritising what is important for you to do during the day, and not letting your emails dictate what you have to do.

Vanessa has learnt over time that working every hour of the day is not conducive for her or for anyone to do their best work, so when she stepped into this leadership role she made it a point to lead from the top and prioritise resting, recovering and being with the family.

She talks about how we need to ensure that the work we are a part of is actually for us to contribute. So often we are a part of meetings that arent shifting the dial. Vanessa has three big goals every year, and if people align with them then, of course, get involved otherwise it’s okay if you need to be elsewhere.
