“But what if he makes it to the top?”

Cam Calkoen talking about his identity journey with Cerebral Palsy

Summary:

Born in Holland, Cam made his entrance to the world not quite as expected after his birth didn’t go quite to plan, he was born with Cerebral Palsy.

Cam shares the impact that having a great mum and dad has made upon his life, their belief in him and encouragement to do what he sets his mind to is something he will never forget!

Whether it was participating in sports, or climbing up the treehouse in their backyard, his parents never let his Cerebral Palsy dictate what he could or “couldn’t” do!

Not only has this helped form resilience in Cam’s character but helped him lead the life he has to date!
