Summary:

What is causing the distraction or lack of focus first? 

 

Is it anxiety? 

Is it a lack of motivation? 

Is it wanting to get things perfect? 

 

Understanding why you lose focus is important because doing so can help you understand what you need to keep going! However, it is also about understanding that it’s totally normal for us to not be focused 100% of the time! 

Dom always goes back to a to-do list, and doing so will make it smaller than normal to help be realistic and actually give the feeling of achievement to your day! 

Then it’s about truly understanding why you do lose focus, and also accepting that it is okay to do so! 

It’s also really important to have a strategy to get back into focus mode, Dom talks about meditation as one of these ways, because it does help to increase your focus!
