Summary:

Joel talks to us about the importance of connecting to your community, whether that is through sports or other social activities! Joel talks about his Squash community and how it is a great way to get out and meet new people that you otherwise would not have been connected to!

He talks to us about how much you learn when you connect with new people, and how powerful this is not only for the community you are a part of, but it broadens your perspective about others values and beliefs and allows you to gain further understanding with others!

Joel is a proud squash player as you will hear! One of the things that Joel likes about Squash is that ultimately he is playing against himself because only he can control what happens out on the court! This has removed some of the pressure that can come when he would play team sports and helps him to build up his self-belief and confidence in himself knowing he can overcome different obstacles in different situations! Showing just how awesome the element of community is for your wellness!
