The moment that made me look after my body

Summary:

Husain historically didn’t put his body at the top of the priority list. That was until he got a wake-up call from the March 15 attacks in 2020! This brought up a lot for Husain, but one of the big takeaways was his need and want to be present for his family.

So he got to work, and made sure that he started moving his body again and looking after the way he fuels his body!

Husain got a personal trainer and took up running, so much so that he is about to complete the Auckland Marathon…finally after a year’s delay!

Another massive step Husain took was to ensure he fuelled his body right, so he focused heavily on nutrition! He admits that through his middle eastern culture food is a big part of who he is, but through an app called MyFitnessPal, he was able to keep on track and set some habits into place!
