Innovation and Creativity to Help Break Access Barriers!

Cecilia 04

video

Summary:

Cecilia talks about My Food Bag and the reason that she and her husband took on that adventure with innovating a new way to access and cook kai. Ultimately she wanted help with dinners, and with growing kids the meal prep and effort required to get a yummy and nutritious meal on the table increased. So Cecilia and husband James innovated My Food Bag, and now one of Cecilia’s joys is cooking with her family and the involvement that her kids have with the food prep because it is so easy!

Another part that Cecilia talks about is the barriers that many New Zealanders have to healthcare. Tend is Cecilia and husband James’ latest focus! The aim with Tend is to bring better access to healthcare so that everyone has the access they deserve to healthcare, Cecilia is so passionate about this project and is fully committed to it so that our tamariki don’t inherit our current healthcare system.
