Husain Al-Badry: Having perspective to decimate racism

Husain Al-Badry:

Husain is a very proud father, husband and third-cultured kid! He is also the Associate Director of innovation and growth at Datacom New Zealand and an award-winning home barista!

Originally from Iraq, our kōrero with Husain dives deep into his identity. Specifically around where his journey has taken him so far, the impacts his experiences have had and the pathway he sees going forward!

We kōrero about racism, war, the March 15 terror attacks, the Muslim community, faith and more! We also touch on the impact of running, overcoming loss and building resilience, leadership, boundaries and how to maintain them, forward-thinking, working your way, finding your people and SO MUCH MORE!

This kōrero will leave you with perspective about more than your own world but also the importance of looking after those that are a part of your world! We hope you take as much from this as we did!
