Dr Galia BarHava-Monteith:

We are so excited to share this interview with Galia! This amazing lady is a wife and a mother to two beautiful children! Originally from Israel, Galia fell in love with Aotearoa through her love of the outdoors and hiking, an activity she thoroughly enjoys for her wellbeing, and has stayed here since coming over to explore our country!

Galia wears many professional hats! She is a trained psychologist, and holds a PhD in person-centered healthcare, she is a professional coach having co-founded Professionelle, she is also an Edmund Hillary fellow. This is just a glimpse into Galia’s experience and she has contributed to society in many ways through her Pro Bono work, as well her work focused around organisational culture within workplaces across Aotearoa!

Galia is known for her impact on people, with a key focus of her work being culture, the holistic approach to life and finding courage in challenging situations! Galia tells us about her Upward Spiral framework and how we can apply this tool in our lives, she also shares her wellbeing journey with us, how impacted she is being away from her home country and family, her own health rituals and this includes her journey she has been on with her rare chronic illness Churg Straus Vasculitis

This korero is a great one! Whether you are struggling being in a different country, having trouble turning negatives into positives, or are just after some ideas for wellbeing and want to hear about another amazing story, this interview has it all!
