Maioro Barton: Breaking barriers and advocating for accessibility

Maioro Barton:

Maioro was born with Spina Bifida and is a wheelchair user but as he shares that hasn’t stopped him from working hard to achieve whatever he sets his mind to!

Maioro is a Connector at Enabling Good Lives Waikato helping people with disabilities to live a life that they choose, mahi that is incredibly inspiring and provides many with opportunities that they deserve!

We chat to Maioro about accessibility and the awareness Maioro shines on why it is so important! Wellbeing for Maioro stems from spending time with his whānau to carving up in wheelchair basketball to testing his skills at the local quiz night! We also talk about superpowers, board games and epic life advice!
