Whānau as a community

Community at microsoft

Summary:

Vanessa shares the journey she has been on with learning about the Maori and Pasifika communities in South Auckland, and really trying to connect to what they are experiencing and encouraging them that the world is their oyster by sharing her own journey- nothing is impossible.

Something that Vanessa and her husband enjoy doing is riding motorbikes, and they are a part of the Harley Davidson motorbike community too!

Ultimately though over the last few years, Vanessa has had to check in with herself and prioritise her family as her community. She doesn’t want her kids to feel as though she isn’t there, and the job she has means a lot of travel so she really is focusing on sharing stories and connecting with her kids and the wider family.
