Sleep as number one

Ziena talking about sleep as an important element for her wellbeing

Summary

Something that isn’t focused on as much as it should be, is the power of sleep!

Ziena talks about the importance she places on getting in her sleep to help her maintain her routine. She also mentions that because of the migraines she gets, she places a strong focus on understanding what her body needs, and more often than not sleep helps get her back on track!

Another element that she has found her body needs is Vitamin D! Unbeknown to Ziena, Indians are more susceptible to lower levels of Vitamin D, because their skin doesn’t absorb Vitamin D from the sun the same as others.

Knowing that now, Ziena takes supplements to help with her vitamin D levels and this intern helps with her sleep!

Ziena understands the importance of knowing your body and what you need to be at your optimum, so whether you need to get tests done or look into a bit of research, make sure you prioritise your health if something doesn’t feel right to you!
