Summary:

Arohanoa talks about communication being a strong tool to help your wellbeing thrive within all environments.

Within the Matthews whānau using communication is a massive part of ensuring that they feel safe and their wairua is in a positive space. Whether that be a simple check-in or expressing how you are doing, Arohanoa talks about the importance of opening up those conversations around wellness and specifically mental health to help our whānau feel safe to share where they are at personally.

Arohanoa also shares that an important aspect is ensuring that you are bringing your true authentic self to each environment and acknowledging that not everyone is going to be a fan of you and what you bring but you can’t please everybody! So it’s about ensuring you remain true to yourself no matter where you are and trust that there will be people that appreciate you for you.
