Changing the mindset of exercise

BODY

Summary:

Brooke was in the national hockey team for nine years where each time she moved her body it was to push herself to her limits! Now as a retired athlete and mother she has had to re-frame the way she looks at exercise, and rather see it as movement.

She has done a lot of work on the way that she views moving her body and the expectations that she has. For her now it’s not about maxing out each session but rather actually understanding that going for a walk is movement, but this shift in mindset hasn’t come easy and Brooke has had to put in some work around this mentality!
